Everything about Hospitality GradLab — a hospitality student employability program and placement training for hotel management colleges: what we do, who it's for, and how a cohort works.
What does Hospitality GradLab do?
Hospitality GradLab is a real-world readiness lab that makes final-year hospitality students genuinely employable. We run a campus-to-corporate employability program — live scenario training, AI-assisted practice, and mentorship from hoteliers with 14+ years of experience — and score every student on a proprietary Hospitality Employability Index, so colleges get evidence of readiness, not promises.
Who is Hospitality GradLab for?
It is built for hotel management colleges and hospitality institutions in India (and beyond), specifically their final-year batches, and for the employers who hire from them. Leadership, deans and placement cells use it to improve placement outcomes and produce documented employability evidence for NAAC and NBA accreditation reviews.
What is included in a cohort?
A cohort includes a full Hospitality Employability Index assessment for the batch, the complete Career Edge training programme, one Employer Alliance connect session, and placement-readiness reporting for leadership and accreditation. The training covers communication, etiquette, grooming, guest interaction and live scenarios.
How long does the program run?
Each cohort runs 4–6 weeks, delivered on-campus alongside your academic calendar for one final-year batch of roughly 30–60 students. The Employability Index assessment can begin within two weeks of confirming the engagement.
How is the program priced?
The program is priced as a flat per-batch fee, shared on request. Pricing depends on batch size and scope. Request a proposal and we'll send batch-specific pricing.
What outcomes can a college expect?
Colleges get measurable individual and batch-level readiness scores, stronger placement support such as mock interviews and recruiter exposure, documented employability evidence for NAAC/NBA accreditation, and a sharper admissions story. The goal is graduates who can perform on day one — the talent five-star hotels compete to hire.
Can companies hire graduates directly?
Yes — hotels, resorts and hospitality employers can hire readiness-scored talent directly for front office, F&B, guest services and event roles. Every candidate is trained through live scenarios and benchmarked on the Hospitality Employability Index, so employers see evidence of job-readiness before they interview. Use the Hire Talent form to tell us the roles and volume you need.
How is this different from a guest lecture or a certificate course?
Unlike a one-time guest lecture or a certificate for attendance, Hospitality GradLab is measured against real readiness. Students rehearse actual service scenarios until responses become instinct, get AI-assisted practice reps plus human coaching, and are scored against real employer hiring criteria — so the outcome is judgment and job-readiness, not seat-hours.
Where is Hospitality GradLab based and which colleges can it work with?
Hospitality GradLab is based in Benson Town, Bangalore, and delivers on-campus cohorts for hospitality institutions across India, with international career pathways (Gulf, cruise lines and global hotel groups) for students. Contact partnerships@hospitalitygradlab.com to discuss your campus.
